This is a Merritt Classic RollerBall Pen Handcrafted by Richard Lee Merritt from a rare piece of two-toned Amboyna Burl. This fine writing instrument is dressed in Rhodium plated (Platinum Family) appointments and accented with beautiful Black Titanium hand-cast engraved insets on the ends of the cap and pen barrel as well as the accent band. This is a very special piece of two-toned Amboyna Burl with swirls of blonde and amber hues that fade into a smoke colored pattern.
In the tradition of fine desk pens, the Merritt Classic RollerBall Pen is not designed for use with the cap attached to the pen. This ensures that you will enjoy effortless writing and the perfect balance of the Merritt Classic RollerBall every time you use it. Just be sure to leave the pen cap in plain sight where others can see what they’re missing! The cap screws on and off with only one and a half turns and is buttery smooth.
A special clear satin finish is applied and polished by hand to add superior beauty and durability, the burl wood is also specially hand stabilized with a special technique hardening the wood burl to ensure the highest quality writing instrument that will last several lifetimes.
